CSS Profile

I come from a first generation family and my parents are not great with English. I need to apply for financial aid. Thus, it is up to me to do this with my parent's tax returns.

I'm not too familiar with this and I'm worried that I will make mistakes. Since the colleges that I am applying to will request copies of the tax returns anyway, are these mistakes a big deal? I'm worried that I will fill something out incorrectly.

Are there major repercussions to errors on financial aid applications like the CSS Profile? Is this something I could get kicked out of college for?

No, you won't get kicked out for errors in your FA documentation. Once the school verifies the data they will correct it. Do the best you can and ask the experts on here if you come up against some confusing spots.
