Scholarships at University of Tennessee Knoxville

Hello,

I am a high school senior in the state of Tennessee, and I have been accepted to UT Knoxville. I was wondering what my chances were of decent merit scholarships (e.g. Chancellor's Scholarship)?

Best single ACT:
Composite: 34
Math: 35
Science: 35
English: 33
Reading: 33
Writing: 8
English Combined: 30

Superscore ACT:
Composite: 35
Math: 35
Science: 36
Reading: 35
English: 33

Unweighted GPA: 4.00

AP European History (10th grade): 4
AP Chemistry (11th grade): 5
I am taking AP Calculus AB now, and next block, I will take AP Physics.

Dual Enrollment Composition I: 97/A
Dual Enrollment Composition II: currently in progress

- Traveling & High School Soccer (traveling team in the fall, high school team in the spring)
- 9th, 10th, and 11th Grade Class President (did not run in 12th grade)
- Student School Board Representative - I sit on the board as a representative from the high school. I provide a younger perspective, and I relay information from my peers to board members and the Director of Schools (and visa versa).
- Team Captain of a team which builds single-person vehicles for a super mileage competition in Indianapolis (basically like an Engineering team)
- Started a small business with a friend which makes websites for small businesses
- I was a political volunteer during the 2012 Elections
- Active in Church Youth Group
- USSF Soccer Official (for several years)
- Volunteered at local charity proving wood to impoverished families and individuals, and I also led a team which produced a short documentary/promotional video (we used a GoPro and two professional tier Cannon video cameras from our HS film class)

Thanks,
jptech7

What dies your guidance counselor say? That person is more likely to know the details for you home-state schools than we are.

Your grades and exam scores qualify you for guaranteed merit money (including full rides) at some institutions. Read the threads in this forum on guaranteed merit-based aid fir the links.
