1) Fill the International Financial Aid Form for International students
2) Fill the Certificate of Finances
3) Send them with your (school) commonapp forms, transcripts, RECs, etc through a courier service

Does anyone know about financial aid for international students (especially intl transfers) at Washington University in St Louis? Do people often get full tuition?

You need to check the university website and see what their deadline is.

Admissions > Internationals > Financial Aid

what does international transfer mean exactly ?
1, an international student finishes 2 year in a US community college and then transfer ?
2, or an international doing whatever year in a college other than US want to transfer to a US school?

Anyway, given I am the first case, and hypothetically speaking, I can get at least 3.9 cumulative GPA and 4.0 in prereq courses, besides school performance, my extracurricular activities are medicore: 1, member of school economics/political science club ( which Im pretty sure that I couldn't get into any of the leadership position - I enjoy it though ) 2, run a little online business which selling laptop skins 3, not done any but I could do some community services if it helps.

What are my chances to get into a college with a good business/finance program ( top 100 let say ) and willing to give out financial aid ( I can only afford about 15k-18k/year for the remaining 2 years after transferring )

Any suggestions on schools ? Or anything else that could help strengthen my application?

Nice thread.

Does anyone know if any of the following universities --- Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, Darthmouth, Amherst, Williams, Middlebury

1. are need-blind

AND

2. meet full need without the use of loans?

I'm not an international student. I was just wondering.

All these are need-blind to us internationals

And all of them guarantee full need met (no loans for sure, student employment I guess)

I just got accepted into Boston University School of Management...
and I really want to go there.
BUT... I just read that BU doesn't do need based for International Students.

I applied as an International student because my family doesn't have our green card
I lived in the US for more than 8 years already and we are now waiting for our green card
Since we filed tax returns... and I have social security number, I was able send in FAFSA and everything...

Accourding to the chart on Boston University - Office of Financial Assistance - Applying for Financial Aid
I should get a pretty good aid
I have 29 on the ACT, 31 superscore
my family income is low... maybe 40K? not really sure.
My dad is the only person working
with his entire income, I still can't afford to pay full tuition!

Since I send in FAFSA and everything
is it likely that I'll get some needbased financial aid?

Can anyone answer my question? Please? I am an exchange student at Wash U trying to transfer here next year, I made the Dean's List here at Wash U in the fall, and got involved in quite a few extracurriculars, have 3 letters of rec and a great TOEFL score. But I requested financial aid and i'm really scared that even if I do get in they won't offer me enough money and I won't be able to attend. Please, does anyone know how they deal with Intl Transfers and financial aid apps. Thanks.
