Perfect Attendance Scholarship?

Anyone aware of scholarships for students with perfect attendance in all school years K-12? It seems this is an accomplishment worth rewarding...

I'd say what you do there is more important than if you're there.

i just realized having perfect attendance since 5th has not helped in life at all. i should have just stayed home when i needed to.

Hi...

I'm a graduating senior who has had perfect attendence since kindergarten. Have you found any scholarships for this? Thanks...

Woah, that is an accomplishment, but I've never heard of a scholarship for it. I definately couldn't have done it though... I'm usually there if I just have a cold or something, but there have been days where I'm too sick to get out of bed, or I've just had wisdom teeth surgery, etc... You're immune system (and your teeth) must be pretty awesome.

I haven't missed a day of high school. Pretty pathetic.

And even though I've been there every day, due to the fact that I go to two different schools for half the day each, I've still been marked absent a couple times. (ie. ditching one school half the day to take the AIME or something at my other school). Those should all be excused though and shouldn't count against me, but whatever.

It's funny how you say "ditching school" to take a math test. lol You skip school to do schoolwork

Our D gets one "mental health" day per semester, at her discretion. Think having the time to re-energize has helped her in school.

as a former public health official, IMO rewarding perfect attendance is just 'sick'....in over 12+ years of schooling, it is virtually impossible not to come down with some sort of virus, i.e., communicable disease, that warrants a kid to stay home. Instead, parents send their sick little kids off to school where they infect other kids, not to mention the teacher......back to regular programming....

I HIGHLY doubt there is a scholarship for perfect attendance. What's so special about having perfect attendence? It's not hard to do. Scholarships are rewarded typically for doing something special, like getting really high grades, test scores, or both. Not for showing up everyday.

To be fair, I'm going to Cedar Point on senior skip day...and I don't show up on the days I don't have classes scheduled (mainly around exam time I get a day or two off). But I think they've marked me absent for this once or twice.
