Good big debt

I'd like to hear from parents of students (or older students) who took out substantial loans to pay for name-brand schools and feel it has really paid off in allowing them to accomplish career goals and land well-paying jobs that they wouldn't have otherwise. Poster MAStudent is currently regretting her decision to go into a lot of debt.
