Laura in China

My husband and our sons are US citizens, but I am not; my husband and I file taxes separately - i.e. he files in the US for himself and not for me. I have no duty to file in America as I am not American and don't live in the US.

I also have no duty to file in the UK (my passport country) concerning worldwide income. I only file there for a very small amount of UK income. I have no income in China (my country of residence).

Where will this leave us as far as our FAFSA declaration? Will they want to see my UK tax return? My husband's China tax return? My China tax return (there isn't one as I don't have to file). A declaration of other income and assets?
