I could sign in 10 minutes ago but when I checked now I couldn't sign in. Anyways, I'm going to sleep. Just keep thinking positive and who knows, you might be lucky to submit your app at 11:58 PM.
Well, they did send an email warning applicants about waiting until the last minute:
Dear Nominee:
We look forward to you submitting your Nominee form to the Gates Millennium Scholars program. The FINAL deadline is Monday, January 14, 2008, 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST ).
Do not wait until Monday, January 14th to submit your Nominee Form. You can imagine that traffic to the GMS nomination website will be heavy throughout the deadline. Please complete and submit your nomination form as soon as possible.

ok...so i just called GMS, and before I said anything a lady asked for my social security (which i don't think i gave the right one because she never let me finish) and then she said that she will submit in my application. then after like 3 min, she said ok it's in, and "bye bye"
i was like what the heck? i appreciate you doing this for me, but i don't even know if you got the right applicant.
