We didn't hear today, either. My son had a 2320 SAT and 4.22 GPA so I'm hoping the notifications just haven't gone out yet.

since texas is purely GPA and scores, i dont see any reason why your son shouldnt get it Texas Mom. Im worried that since i go to private school, all the money could go out to public school students first. But I have no idea why I think that. Guess im just freaking myself out.

I wonder why there's a delay with Texas this year (as mentioned in an earlier posting) - in past years the decisions were sent out around June 8th or so.

TX- I called Scipio Brown at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board today and left a message. I asked if the notifications had been sent. We will see.

FL- Got it a week ago. Not much money, but it's certainly better than the unsubsidized Stafford loan it's replacing.

My D's school in NY received the news about their Byrd scholarship winners on June 23. She was not one of the 2 recipients from her school.
