Hi, I know this is a very old thread. But the deadline is near!! Does anybody have any tips as to how to write the business plan?

Tech question on application format - how do you attach transcript in an email? I can scan one and attach or does your high school offer an electronic version?

My high school only has paper versions of my transcript so I had to scan and attach it

yeah, i went to the office and got a copy of my transcript
i got it signed by a school admin and then scanned it.

i'm really nervous.

Top 3? I got it. What category are you in? Mine's in the Investment Aptitude one. I would have liked to have done something for the Enterprise leadership thing, but I put it off... Submitted the investment prompt 5 minutes before the deadline lol. Also, they entirely did away with the regional categories due to, I'm guessing, total domination by the East coast. Thank you for throwing it up here or I would have never heard of it. Good luck!

Thanks, good luck to you too. I'm sure that the total domination East Coast was a major factor (i can't really imagine the midsection of the US submitting that many applications!)

Wow Top 3 in the US is really dizzying for me!

Sorry to inform you CC'ers, but the NOVA business challenge is actually a fake organization that was started in 2008 by a high school graduate from a local school.
If you check up the statistics for this website- they don't match

novachallenge.org WHOIS domain registration information from Network Solutions

First of all, the address is in England, and its only a common residency.
Second of all, the name Asavir Kalla isn't mentioned on the website
Finally, although the competition was "started" in 2005, the website was
registered in 2008.

A local school newspaper ran an article exposing the deceitfulness of this fake organization. It was actually started as a practical joke, but it grew out of proportion.
So please do not write this as an award on your college applications
