For students receiving the Robert Byrd Honors scholarship - has your money for the Fall 2009 semester been distributed yet? I've been receiving it for two years now and I've noticed that it always comes late in the semester, but I still haven't gotten my money for this semester yet and I'm getting a little worried. I'm in Texas, if that helps any. Thanks!

musely, I'm no expert, and don't live in Texas, but let me ask you a couple of questions. You know the money goes directly to your school, right? Is this your first year for the scholarship (are you a freshman?)? If not, did you fill out the renewal paperwork with your state agency that handles the Byrd Scholarship funding? I would contact your state agency in either case to check on the status of your scholarship.
