scholarships for only SAT?

HI,

My GPA is 3.0 but my SAT is 1400. I live in GA but I want to go to university of south carolina or university of miami. I'd also like to attend UGA but the problem is I probably won't get in. I have high admission rate to the two out-of state colleges but the problem is the tuition.

I looked up some financial aids, and found that I probably won't qualify for any merit-based ones because of my low GPA, even though I have high SAT score.

Need-based I should be able to qualify because of my low family income.

Is there any scholarships that I will be able to get?

You won't get any need based aid from USC. Public Us reserve their need based aid for in-state students. It looks as though Miami meets a good percentage of need. That 3.0 makes it very tough to find other schools with scholarships.

Is that your weighted GPA? Are you including all of your classes with that GPA? If your weighted GPA is higher and/or your full GPA is higher (including PE and electives), there might be some merit scholarships for you.
