I wonder if emailing the college's financial aid department to explain would help at all? Right now it seems like the servers are just going to keep being overloaded until the 11/1 midnight deadline.

yea, ive already emailed emory to let them know im trying my hardest to submit it before the deadline but it prob wont happen

I find this whole situation extremely irresponsible on the part of College Board. It's not as if it's a surprise that their site is experiencing far more traffic than usual on November 1st. For them not to be prepared for this is just lazy and irresponsible. Just when I thought College Board couldn't do anything else to **** over high school students, they find a way.

I am so frustrated like many of you on this thread! I am going to stay up all night until I can submit my application... I have e-mailed Collegeboard saying that I greatly appreciate its well-accessible 24/7 CSS/Profile application since I may be unable to afford to go to any college for financial reasons...

Yeah I have been trying to get on since about lunchtime...luckily mine isn't due until November 2 so I think I'll try at about 2am tomorrow and see if the lessened volume helps

I was afraid I was the only one. I have to get this CSS crap in by tomarrow and I thought it would be a cinch to do it because I have all the documents and all I need to do is fill out the little blanks on the computer sceen. Yeah Right. I keep getting "Time Out"! I don't get it. I'm frustrated. I'm scared. I'm angry. If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong please, I beg you, Speak up!

ahh on CSS profile it says my college is taking it by NOV 3rd but on the college's website it says Nov 1.

I have filled this out AGES ago but never pressed submit... AHHHH

I've been trying to get on for the past six hours just to register for the profile and it keeps sending me to "Time Out" and now it just decided to hate me and shut down all together. I sent an email to college board reporting my problem five hours ago and I get a "your message is really important to us but we don't really care" reply. I need this to be done tonight and I am so stressed. I don't know what to do!
