Im a high school student from Pakistan. I plan to study in America but the major problem is the money so i would like to ask wether i could get a full ride to any engineering university with these stats: 2150 in Sat. 750 in maths and 700 in both the english sections. I can write a killer essay for my application and i have decent extra eurriculars ( went to india for an essay writing competition did not win anything though). The ercomendations will be good but should i hope for a full ride and if i can get one then from which universites(other than ivies and MIT-though its near impossible for me to get in them anyway).Help please application dead lines are near.

I also plan to give my SAT2(physics chemistry and maths level) in January probably get 800 in all three. Heard about Howard university do i stand a chance if i submit the application by first weak of December because the scholarships are given till the money runs out.

Typically, only the ivies and similar give full-rides to int'ls. Most schools cannot give to int'ls. Some other schools will give small amounts of aid or scholarships, and some include loans. Those small amounts are just not enough to come close to what you'll need. To get the full coverage you desire, you need to apply to ivies and similarly ranked schools. I don't know if ALL the ivies give full to int'ls who qualify.

Usually, an international student has to provide documentation that his family can pay for all of his costs in order to get a visa to come here.
