Pell Grant Question

Currently I attend one community college ,but due to Califorina budget cuts i'm forced to go to another college for the classes i need.

The two schools are not " sister" schools and the requirement for financial aid is 12 units .

Would it be possible to combine the amount of units i'm taking at both college to meet that requirement.

Pell Grant, enrollment in two schools

Not great news for you, but two of the people who offered answers in that earlier thread are actual financial aid officers, so I think that's a pretty definitive answer. It would at least be worth going in and explaining your situation at your primary college. I doubt they can do much, but it doesn't hurt for them to be aware of your predicament. They've probably encountered it before and may have some other information that would at least help put it all in perspective for you, and who knows... if there is some kind of work-around, you won't know if you don't ask.
