Up to how much in debt is acceptable for undergrad?

Keeping in mind that I will most likely be going to law school, up to how much in debt is acceptable?

I would suggest no more than 20-25k. any more and it is too much of a burden

I think he means total at graduation...not each year. Just to clarify any possible misunderstanding.

So, $20-25k is about $5-6k per year.
