Hi everyone, I was admitted to FIU, however, i dont know if i should go. I am currently enrolled at K-State doing a Dietetics major, would anyone know if FIU is any good in that field? I was really looking forward to moving to Miami but i am having my doubts about FIU since i have read SO MANY negative comments. My education comes before having fun but i cant stand Manhattan Kansas anymore! Also, I am an international student and i would really like to make this my final move to any uni. Thanks!!!

For undergraduate , FIU is good enough for most things. I would say it's quite underrated. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but there are some problems that every university has. I'm going there next year for electrical engineering. The campus is nice but parking sometimes takes awhile to get ( it depends on the time I guess). Sometimes the people working there get paperwork misplaced so you have to call sometimes when you think something is wrong. If you plan to do a graduate degree , the school you do your undergraduate doesn't usually matter much (as long as it's accredited). One reason people think FIU is bad because it's ranked lower than many schools but ranking takes a lot more things into consideration than most students think. Your experience depends on many things including your major but FIU is still a decent school.
