I could not find on the FSU site if the school has any preference for the length of auditions songs. I was wondering if anyone knows what they normally like. Short 16-bar cuts or full songs or something else. Any information is appreciated!

It can be as long as you want, really, but I would assume the bulk of people will have a 36 bar cut be their longest, like they would for other schools. FSU has no time limit on songs, though they only allow about 10 minutes for each person, with a strict 2-min. monologue.

I'm sorry, I have been out of town and did not see this until today.
We ask that you prepare full songs; 16 bar cuts are just not long enough. A good plan is to prepare a cut if you choose a particularly long song because the above poster is correct - we plan for about 10 minutes per person. The monologue length is 90 seconds.
