hi, I just have a few questions about the CARE Program...

1) Does applying for this program improve my chances of getting into FSU?

2) Will I be isolated from the general student population? Like, will the CARE program kids be in specific dorms, have to take specific classes, etc.

3) My mother attended a community college in NY, but we still have a VERY low-income after my father passed, am I still considered "fair-game" since both of my parents attained Bachelor's at one point?

4) Can anyone tell me anything about their experiences in the program?

No, this forum is not dead. Anyone with Care experience will post if they have something to add.

As an alumnus, I strongly doubt you'd be out of the mainstream of student life. You may have a mentor closely working with you, but so do a LOT of grad students with a major professor. You will work like there is no tomorrow...and really earn your academic credentials.

Good luck. If you are accepted to Care it may well be the best decision of your life.

They both selected it over UF. D1 is now a med student at FSU Med. D2 is now a senior Dietetics major. They both seem to love Florida State...both seem to be selecting it for grad school as well as undergrad.
