In the last year or two, there has been an increase in upperclassmen staying on campus. Last year as a freshman we asked housing about her chances for Ragans as a sophomore with a priority number of 30. They said "who knows." Problem is, if you submit a housing application you are obligating yourself to accept an assignment, even if it is not the one you want. She ended up getting a spot in her sorority house, for a lot less money. So we never submitted the application. I will have her ask around to see if she knows many sophomores in Ragans and what there numbers were. McCollum is not bad either.
ps there is a ragans group on facebook, you could post and ask there about who got in as sophomores.
