Chances of Acceptance?

Hello all,

I am a Senior in High School and I have already applied to Florida State. I am wondering what my chances are of being accepted for the summer. My credentials are as follows:

One important thing is that I am a 3 year graduate (skipped 11th Grade) and I will be graduating w/ 30 credits yet and still. I am a 16 year old Black Male. I am however an official Senior.

3.45 weighted GPA
25 Composite ACT (24 Math, 23 English, 29 Reading, 24 Science)

Dual Enrolled for 8 classes (Comp 1 & 2, Intermediate and College Alg, Precalculus, Psychology, Elementary Spanish, and College Success)

AP Classes: Environmental Science, Economics, and American Government.

Extracurricular: Officer in NJROTC, Black History Committee, FBLA, HOSA.

Finalist for 2007 Florida African American Student of the Year.

My academic load was very heavy. I do not have a grand array of electives but I do have 7 Science credits (Biology Major).

I look forward to your responses!
Cameron

Thank You, I was hoping you were the user who replied to my post. One other thing that I am wondering about, how are the financial aid packages at FSU? My EFC is 0 and my household circumstances and somewhat harsh right now. I need all of the help i can get.

I suggest contacting FSU Admissions and advising them of your circumstances. You may find you are eligible for scholarships, even Honors, given your age and accomplishments.

You are obviously a remarkable young man.

Good luck!

I suggest going to collegeweeklive.com from 12-5pm tomorrow or Saturday (from: fsu.edu | admissions home)

I have been talking with them and they have answered all of my questions and more.

Just wondering, but what is your unweighted GPA? A HS weighted GPA of 3.45 seems pretty low.
