Fordham's International Relations???

Hey, I've been doing some research on Fordham, and I haven't been able to find a concrete International Relations program or major, the closest thing I've found is an 'Intercultural Studies' major, which doesn't sound like quite the same thing, so my question is does Fordham have an Int'l Relations major??

I don't know if they are the same thing, but it seems to me that if you double that with a political science major they could be comparable to an international relations major.

There are 2 you might be interested in:

International Studies (@ Lincoln Center campus)
International Political Economy (@ Rose Hill)

Both look great!

They are majors...The IPE one looks interesting: a combo of economics, poly sci, and IR.

IPE is indeed very interesting and has become a popular choice amongst Fordham students.

Too bad nobody who's majoring in Fordham's IR comes to this board It would help so much to hear from them.

IPE is a very rigorous and challenging curriculum (major). Its a superb program.

IR is a very hot major for students across the country. But there are more than one way to skin a cat. There are also area majors, like Russian Area Studies, Middle Eastern Studies. Fordham even has Irish Studies. You can combine those with languages, political science, economics, business, whatever.

Careers in IR usually require a Masters for minimum. Thus, graduate school is where it is at for IR, if you ask me. Fordham is an OUTSTANDING feeder school for PRESTIGIOUS programs in IR at Columbia, NYU, Ivy League, JHU, Georgetown.

I wouldnt fret about it. Its a great school and LOTS of fun!

I talked to the poli sci prof at Rose Hill, since I also am interested in IR. He said that they just hired a new prof who focuses more on international politics. It sounded like they are working to offer more classes within the poli sci department that would fit in the 'international relations' category.

i want to major in international relations but i'm so confused now o_O

would it be better to major in political science with a concentration in international relations at the rose hill campus, or international studies at the lincoln center campus? which would be most like the "traditional" IR major found at other schools?
