Laptop Question

I'll be getting a new laptop this summer before I begin Fordham in the fall. I know Fordham has deals worked out for Dell, Mac, and HP, and am leaning toward getting an HP laptop.

I got to the IT department of Fordham's website and found this page:

HP Laptop Offerings

My question is..are these the only two laptops I can purchase from HP while still receiving a discount as a Fordham student?

This will be the last laptop I buy for a long long time, so I am looking to get a state-of-the-art laptop so it will not be rendered obsolete in 5 years.

My D bought a HP laptop last year and used it. The Fordham Wireless system is good...but sometimes has issues. By and large, the kids with Apple products had fewer problems with crashes and other issues. Go apple.

the only thing is apples are way too expensive so only get one if you have the extra money to spend.

Also, if you are in CBA, I would not recommend getting an Apple. You have to do projects in your Info Systems class that use programs that either aren't compatible with Macs or are difficult to use with them

You can get a Mac and dual boot Windows using Bootcamp if you're having compatibility issues.
