Did they have a surge of applicants or something? One of my friends is applying, and this wait is so frustrating for me, so I can only imagine how you guys actually feel!

Yep, I sent an e mail to the admissions office asking about transfer notification and the response I got back said late May...

I received the following in an email from the admissions office: "Thank you for your interest in The George Washington University. The admissions committee has conducted an initial review of your application and concluded that we have everything we need to make a decision. We expect to notify our transfer applicants next week."

@thejosher I remember you from the Georgetown thread, haha, didn't you say you were going there? By the way, congrats! ...I'm still waiting to hear from them, but I guess I'll most-likely hear from both schools this upcoming week

As a kind of nontraditional student, though, I'm curious as to who will accept me and who won't... so I'm still following the other schools I've applied to. Good luck!

Hi everyone! I just found this thread...I'm also an applicant for fall 2012. Did everybody else get their admissions decision today? I got my acceptance and I'm really excited...just a bit nervous about financial aid. Hopefully I'll see some of you in the fall though!

I received an email telling me the decision was available under the Application Status Check.

Thanks! I also got an email about three hours ahead of time, telling me when to access the status check. I talked to a few other people who applied, and they don't have decisions yet either. They were told either today or Monday...so hopefully everyone will hear soon!
