Chance?

Georgetown is one of my top choices, so if you don't mind... chance me?

Stats:
GPA: 90 UW, 100+W (I'm sure on a 4.0 scale)
SAT I: 730 CR, 650 W (highest) and 590 M
SAT II: 730 US History, 650 Biology E, 600 something for Literature
ACT: 30 comp (35 R, 30 W, 27 M, 28 Sci)
APs: Language (5), US History (4), European History (3), Physics B (2)

This year I'm taking: AP Literature, AP Stats, AP Biology, AP Government, College Business Law (an in-school college class), and an art elective. Currently I have a 95 average for the first semester.

EC: Mock Trial, Debate (Capt.), Youth for Political Awareness, Medical Explorers (Pres.), Science Olympiad (Pres.), Junior Acheivement HS Heroes, National Honor Society, Social Studies Honor Society, Art Honor Society, Co-ed Marksmanship, Shadow Days (4 yrs), Teacher's assistant at my temple's hebrew school (1 yr, art room)

Rec: Very good
Interview: Went extremely well, my interviewer remembered me well enough to mention me to another one of my classmates.
Essays: Very good, one really good
"Hook": I'm Jewish and I know exactly what I want.

I'm very sorry but your chances are awful. Your scores are abysmally low (whenever you have 500's, you're in hot water), your GPA is weak and your "hook" isn't a hook at all. A lot of the applicants are Jewish. Your strength: you know what you want to do and if you used your AP-Lang-5 rhetoric, that might squeeze you in.

Ah well, it was pipe dream anyway.

I wouldn't be able to go (most likely) anyway even if I was accepted. Too much money and no chance of aid.

And being Jewish is technically a "hook" in a Christian based school that wishes to "diversify." In theory. XD

Thanks for being honest though.

Thats BS

Thats not cool, you definitely have a shot

I have a 790 CR, 750 W, 600 M (best)

and an 87% GPA unweighted.

i've taken 6 APs.

And I got into Dartmouth with a likely letter and the London School of Economics.

And hell, I'm jewish!

So think before you say things like that.
