Waiting for the big envelope...

Hi everyone,

I received an acceptance email from Gtown on March 31, yup along with a very generous financial aid award, yet I haven't received the big envelope. I assumed they should use express mailing, so it would take probably 3-4 working days to arrive. I'm an international student so there are still a lot of stuffs to do: deposit (wire transfer), Immigration Questionnaire, I-20... and I don't want to miss out

Is there anyone who was accepted but not received the big envelope? I live in Vietnam by the way.

Shoot an email to the admissions officer who handles Vietnam and see what he says.

I was accepted last year. When I got my mail and it said "Georgetown University" on a small, average sized envelope my heart sank because I thought I didn't get it. To my suprise, they send out the acceptance letters first rather than sending your financial aid package and acceptance letter together. Don't be fooled like I was last year, you never know if an average sized envelope could hold everything :-).

Thank you guys very much. I wrote emails to the admission officers and they told me to print out the enrollment form and submit the deposit. Probably the letter was lost out there :|
Oh yeah, my friend received the thin envelope, thought that she didn't get in but she was also accepted )
