| SFS v. College??
So I plan on being either a government major in the college or a science, technology, and international affairs major in SFS. There are a couple factors I'm hung up on in my decision, however. The first is that I literally took Spanish through Spanish III, and quit in favor of doubling up in science. So I feel like that does not look good at all for SFS, considering you have to be proficient in a foreign language upon graduating. However, the science does make sense in the aspect of my major within SFS, so I'm kind of torn. I would rather be in SFS than the college, but rather the college than a different university, if that makes sense. I only recently realized this could be a somewhat big factor, does anyone have any opinions? Do they look for extensive foreign language experience/dedication? And if so, would I be better off applying to the college? There's also the aspect that SFS is considered to be more selective, but I don't guess anyone could offer an opinion on that without seeing all of my stats.
