| Michigan (Ross) because of Georgetown's
-mission to educate the whole person (mind, body, spirit)
-focus on undergraduate education and teaching
-Liberal Arts core curriculum
-cross registration across the colleges including: SFS, School Business, and College or Arts and Sciences
-Smaller Size
-international focus and student body
-worldwide and accessible alumni network in: business/finance, law, medicine, government, international organizations, non-profits, entertainment, and journalism
-Washington, DC location and the Georgetown neighborhood
-Tradition
-Jesuits (don't knock it until you experience it)
-access to Superstar professors
-access to Superstar Guest Lecturers (World Leaders, Scientists, Business people, Attorneys)
-Minimal Greek system (unnecessary as social opportunities abound at Georgetown)
-Selectivity in admissions
-Track record or producing Rhodes, Fulbright, and Marshall scholars
-career center
-value for money

| Barnard, Smith, Mt. Holyoke, Tulane, etc.
But the decision was really between Georgetown and Barnard and I liked each better than the other for different reasons. In the end, I needed to be away from NY (and in smaller classes guaranteed). |
