I am attending a summer program on international relations at Georgetown and was wondering if it will increase my chances of being accepted if I apply there next year.
It will help you in that you have shown interest in the major, and to a certain extent the school, but I don't think it will give you a major advantage. Brown Summer school applicants don't get a substantial advantage in Brown. Harvard applicants don't in Harvard and so on and so forth.
It might edge you out if you are border line though.
