Hey, i was wondering if i got into the SFS, will i still be able to major or minor in another college's program?
And how much do the SAT II's count in the admissions process??
Last, but not least, for the essay on the current global issue, is it better to write about something that directly influences me ? like the environment?
or should i write about something less ordinary?
No. You cannot double major or minor across schools. The SFS does not actually do "minors," instead it does a certificate program.
I don't really know how much SAT II's count. I would say if you do well, they could help you, but if you do badly they probably won't hurt you that much assuming everything else looks solid.
It does not matter what you write about for the essay, as long as it is well-written and intelligent. Some people write about non-traditional ideas, while I know plenty of people who wrote about AIDS in Africa. Whatever you can write about the best is probably what you should choose.
