For my intended major of linguistics, i should also note that i taught myself french throughout my sophomore year and the summer of 2008 to the level where i am currently taking AP french. additionally, i have started teaching myself russian this summer and will continue to do so throughout the school year to prepare for college courses.

If anyone could give me any feedback about my chances as a linguistics major in the FLL it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Based on just your scores, I would say you have a pretty good shot. The fact that you're Hispanic probably can't hurt as well (:
