Men's Volleyball

So I saw that GU has a Division II Men's volleyball team. I recently discovered my love for the sport and after playing for the last semester at school (just for fun) I've gotten a lot better and noticed I'm actually pretty good. If I were to get into GU EA hypothetically, how is the men's volleyball team and can anybody tell me more about it? I haven't actually played on a team but if I can I'd like to try to play in college. And my height? 6'2 I don't know how that measures up but I'm guessing I'm on the low side.

There's a teacher at our school who went to Georgetown in the mid 90s and often jests with his colleagues and students about his height (he's about 5' 3"). He played volleyball at Georgetown (though I'm not sure if it was the club team or the DII team), but I don't think 6' 2" is "small."

Well its good to know there is at least some volleyball at GU, I don't necessarily want to play Division and recreational intramural is fine.

I did some more research and apparently there is no GU Division 2 Volleyball as I searched through their athletic site

Georgetown University Official Athletic Site

though I had found this article from 04' that mentioned a team

Men's Volleyball Makes a Name for Itself | The Hoya

I don't know I guess I'll put my focus on where it should be my other apps, and my Gtown interview this weekend, and wait to see if I even get in.

Oh ya 6'2 is obviously above average but I meant relative to the sport where height is as big as it is in basketball. Nice username too it caught my attention neo gop
