I actually applied EA for the same program at NHS. Interesting to find someone else who did! I don't know if you ever spoke with the admissions people there, but every year about 300 - 400 apply for 35 - 40 spots in Human Science. The competition is tough, to say the least. Anyway, my qualifications are actually very similar to your. My board scores are a bit higher, but my EC's aren't quite as extensive and my school limits the AP's you can take so I'm don't have as many as you. My unweighted GPA is 3.99. I would say that you and I have very similar, good chances. It's just a crap shoot when the program is that difficult to get into, especially since those numbers apply to all applicants, not just EA.

How did you hear about Human Science? I was going to apply to the College until I visited last month and met with several professors at NHS.

I heard about it when I visited in also. Beforehand I had absolutely no clue, I was just going to apply to the college. It's cool to finally meet someone else applying to NHS! It seems like everyone is going with SFS. Luckily NHS is the school with the highest acceptance so that makes me feel better! Good Luck!

Pretty similar stats, We even have a really similar class schedule.

I wrote about how almost everyone in my family is in the health field, and I grew up wanting to do something completely different. I went to Kenya last summer for a service trip at a hospital in a small city and basically talked about how that opened my eyes to the far-reaching capabilities of medicine. Other jobs can fund charity, but only doctors/nurses/etc. can physically help sick people.

Somewhat cliche, but I thought it was good!
