Transfer Financial Aid Question

Has anyone transferring to Tech for the Fall 2012 semester received a financial aid award letter?

Are we expected to blindly accept Tech's admission offer without knowing if we are financially able to attend?

After a VERY annoying verification process, I would prefer to know where I stand financially before even considering accepting GT's offer. The beginning of the semester is approaching!!

Are you expecting aid? My understanding is that aid is much less generous with transfer students because the applicant -> student yield is much higher.

Yes, but even if I don't receive any aid (be it loan, grant or scholarship) there should be an award letter summarizing the cost of attendance for the 2012-2013 year with a line indicating zero aid is available to me. I am challenged to think of any accredited university or college where sending those offered admission award letters is not standard.

I was accepted little bit more than a week ago and I still haven't got my award letter.
