Is it wise to get frequent flyer miles out of graduate school visits?

I'm too lazy to get them even though I'm booking everything through the cheapest options on Google Flights. But is this laziness too excessive?

Yeah definitely! They can add up. Just try to pick 1 airline and stick with it. My graduate schools booked the flights so I ended up with a bunch of different airlines so didn't really help me there =/

Yes! Do your best to get all your flights on one airline, thought obviously I wouldn't do anything to make the program coordinators go too much out of their way. I've already racked up quite a few miles :D
