Speaking fee for university professor

I work with an technology non-profit organization that is planning a 3-4 hour tutorial session on a technology topic by a renowned university professor who is a subject matter expert.

What is expected to be the fees (paid as honorarium) to a professor (full-professor at a top 10 engineering university) for such an engagement?

Clearly it may vary depending upon how famous the speaker is, but I just want to get a general idea of the range for a full-professor at a top 10 university, so we don't offend him (in case our speaking fee is not at par) when we proposition him about this because I personally know the professor.

Probably not the best place to ask this - try the CHE forums. I remember seeing a topic on this recently there.
