Cognitive Neuroscience

Hi everybody,

this is my first post! I'd like to ask for some advice: I am an international student planning to apply for a phd position in cognitive neuroscience. My main research interest is...well, pretty much everything that is social conduct, mainly decision making, but really anything that is "frontal"...
I completely understand that in order to apply I need to single out one interest and concentrate on that, but for now I would be really grateful if you could give me a few advice about the universities where I can find professors and labs that research the cognitive neuroscience of social conduct and decision making (for example, places like Iowa, Arizona, Emor, UIUC...). Ah, please, skip the Ivy Leagues
Thanks in advance to everyone who'll answer!!

Try researching the publications in the fields you find interesting, see where the big time published labs and who is publishing a lot. Check neuroscience conferences and see who is presenting.
