I'm currently majoring in CompSci and minoring in Math, in the Lebanese American University. This is my first year. My ambition is to become a professor of Graph Theory at a top university in the US or the UK, preferably the latter. I have a few questions.
1. What GPA do I need to have? To maintain my scholarship, I need a 3.5, but I want to get at least a 3.6 or 3.7.
2. My professor is including me in research talks in hopes of having me publish something in the field during my undergrad. If I do find something and it's unimportant, should I not publish? And if I do publish something at least semi-important, would it increase my chances of being admitted?
3. Do you have any misc. tips to increase my chances of admission?
