do I have a shot for USC Viterbi? (Distance/Online Master's in Engineering)

I graduated with a 3.1 from a public university.
My GRE is 720M/480V
I have great work experience, decent letters of recs, first generation college student, and wrote a nice statement of purpose

anyone know how difficult the admission is for their distance master's program? I'm a full-time working professional

thanks

I think you have a good chance. The distance education program is huge, I know when I applied the min. GPA was 3.0.

satrianic: you write your OWN statement of purpose

What's the quality of their DEN program? Do you actually learn as well as if you were attending on-campus?

You have a fairly decent shot, probably.

The DEN courses are exactly the same as on-campus classes. They stream/record the lectures from the on-campus class happening the current semester for you to watch on the internet, you complete the same homeworks, and you take the same exact exams.

The only thing that is a bit different is that you have to ask questions by email/phone etc. instead of office hours.

Of course, this means it's up to you if you want the same experience as on-campus students. You have to keep up the same schedule as on-campus students which means watching lectures regularly etc.
