Best GRE Study Books

What are the Best GRE Study books for the new Revised GRE? I don't have an extra $1200 lying around to take an actual course. Are there any free sites where I can take a practice GRE?

I bought Barron's and Princeton and scored 170/170/5.5. The new test is a lot easier than the old one, I think. Barron's is more difficult than the actual test but is still okay to practice with. I never scored that well on the verbal sections back when I took the SATs, but the reason I was able to do so well is because the Princeton Review book has several hundred vocab words to study. I took a few days to familiarize myself with the ones I didn't know and many of them showed up on the test.

How does Kaplan's book compare to Barrons and Princeton Review? I just picked up Kaplan Premiere, and they seem to have pretty good strategies for attacking the test. This is my first time taking the GRE, and so far it seems like just another SAT/ACT.

as a study guide I would suggest Grubers for math and Manhattan for verbal.
