A month later..

It's been a month since I started part-time studying GRE vocab.

Anyone else feel like they literally know every word that could pop up on this test? I went through multiple practice tests and couldn't find one I didn't know. Damn good feeling.

I'm just kidding. This is actually not possible.

I just took the GRE a few days ago, and I have to admit I was surprised by the level of difficulty on the vocabulary stuff. My score was pretty good, but only because they couldn't smell the dust I had to sweep off of that section of my memory. Some words were used in a context I'd never actually seen before, requiring that I exclude the obvious wrong answers and make a best guess at whatever remained.
