Alternate List Decision

Do people that check the "Strongly consider enrolling" and "Consider enrolling" options, have a chance of getting of the list?
What if you check the "Definitely enroll" option, but then decide to not attend? What are the consequences?

The truth of the matter is, they are only going to consider the students who check the "Definitely enroll" option. So if Grinnell is your first choice go ahead and do it, they can't do anything to you if you turn them down.

I received a call today that Grinnell will be looking at the Alternate list tomorrow morning, 4/30. I'm not sure if this means notifications go out immediately, but probably sooner than later. I wish I hadn't sent my $500 nonrefundable enrollment fee elsewhere THIS MORNING.
