Weight List

Anyone know what the numbers were for last year? I got weight listed and i want to know my chances. I personally am happy with the weight list because this is one of my extreme stretches but i would still like to get off the list, lol.

that sounds like a giant wait list for a small school.

Yep, but it's expected to go down a lot due to people accepting other offers. And someone else mentioned finances may open more spots up, so it's not looking like such a horrible position. A lot of LAC wait lists are larger this year because they are expecting they will RD people not choose the institution.

Is it worth waiting for the acceptance if we're on the wait list? I mean, wouldn't you want to know where you're going way before June 15th?

It is if it is your top. You would have to accept somewhere incase you didnt get it though. I accepted the waitlist spot, but I hope to learn more about hamilton before I invest in convincing myself I'd get in that late.

Do wait listed people visit this time? is it worth it? could it help?

Well, it was my top choice But I don't think that I would want to wait around and not knowing if I'd get in.
The campus is beautiful. But really, no need to visit this late if it's not your top choice.

Right now it is hard to say. Based on the schools I have been accepted to, it is. If I get into some of my other tops, the loss would not be too horrible. It's also hard to estimate w/o FA. Do WL applicants usually end up with bad FA??
