where on the acceptance letter would it say what semester we were admitted for?

It's very obvious if you're accepted for Jan ... Hamilton makes a big fuss about it in the acceptance letter. About 30-40 students are chosen to start 2nd semester ... I was, and want to see what other people think of it.

saw this topic - i'm embarassed to say I don't even understand what you are talking about. This is an offer to start next January? why not start with everybody else? sorry for my stupidity.

Jan admits are students that are accepted to Hamilton but can not start until January. Because more students study abroad in the spring that the fall, Hamilton accepts around 35 freshman to begin in January while there is room on campus. Many of the Jan admits spend the fall semester in London which allows for a bonding experience.
