Thoughts on Transfer

Hello everyone, I've been looking at what has been posted here in the past, and I was hoping someone might be able to judge whether I might be a good transfer candidate at Harvard College.

I am submitting the transfer application for two reasons, the first being that the Mind, Brain, & Behavior track for the psychology program is a better match for the specific course of study I would like to pursue, and the second being that, if I were to get in, it would be much more affordable for me to pursue that course of study.

I currently attend Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. as a second-semester freshman. I have a 3.92 GPA, and a rather nice set of courses under my belt. I don't have a large number of extracurricular activities, but the two primary ones that I have have garnered a lot of attention lately--I just became an official member at the campus radio station (as opposed to just a DJ), and I've been given a lot of privileges, including the opportunity to interview actress Anna Paquin tomorrow. Also, the band I play in has been getting a lot of notice lately, and we've even begun recording an EP (at Harvard, ironically. The other guitar player is currently a HU freshman).

My high school GPA was 3.8, unweighted (my school didn't "weigh" GPA's, so I don't entirely understand how that system works), which placed me 6th in my class. My SAT I&II's were all just below 700, and I took the lit, math II, and biology e SAT II.

I've already filled out the application, and it's actually supposed to be due Friday, but I thought I'd ask for a quick judgment and any advice that anyone can offer based on this info. I still have the opportunity to edit my Additional Personal Statement and incorporate advice.

Thanks!
