Application deadline???

ok so I am in grade 11 (in canada).....how and when should i apply...my grade 12 year begins this september......should i enter my marks from grade 11 or wait untill i have completed the first semester of grade 12???.....why class of 2012....sort of a long gap dont you think?

By 2012 they mean the high school graduating class of 2008 who will graduate from college in 2012. For now I would just worry about pursuing your interests and keeping your grades up.

i called the undergrad admissions and they said that you dont have to have your sats completed before you apply (you can apply and do your sats later) and when i asked them do i just leave the sat part of the app empty they said yes.....is that really correct??

You should take the SATs in October (or before) and have 3 SATIIs (Subject Tests) completed. That way, if you don't like some scores you would have the chance to retake them in November or December, and scores would be at admissions by Feb/March when they start reading applications. The actual application for Class of 2013 (your class) will probably be available early August. Start your essays early, before the busy senior year begins--you'll be so happy in December. (Apps will be due at the end of December--30, 01, 0r Jan.1, depending on how the calendar falls.

Harvard still takes SAT scores from the January test in your senior year. You don't do applications until the fall of your senior year, due 1/1.
