ok so, my sister goes to harvard and my uncle teaches there. those are the only things that i think are giving me a sliver of a chance.


GPA is somewhere around 3.7 or 3.75,
in a very rigorous and nationally known humanities magnet program
by the end of high school i will have taken 8 APs
SAT: 2260
PSAT: 221 (National merit scholar)
SAT II: 740 in biology, awaiting more scores

summers:
9th grade summer went to exeter summer school (did well, etc)
10th grade summer took an intensive immersion program in arabic
11th grade (this summer) will be working on a translation project for arabic poetry

in-school:
captain of debate team, various debate awards/honors
member of: GSA, AWARE, Make Trade Fair, Speech and Debate,

extracurriculars:
lots of writing/poetry samples, been taking arabic for 4 years

do i even have a SLIVER of a chance?

oh yeah and father has been unemployed for a long time, and my sister got a full-ride need-based scholarship, if that helps.

academics are borderline good/mediocre, ecs participation/school recognition only. You always have a sliver of a chance, and I don't really understand legacies, but I wouldn't say your chances are very good.
