Actually, recruited athletes could be told their admissions decisions ahead of time. A student from my area was recruited to Harvard for football. Harvard paid for him to be flown up to the school for a tour and to meet the fball coaches. There was a story in the newspaper about how he would accept their offer to attend the school.

One less spot in the pool.

"how does one apply to about 11 or 12 schools."

a lot of begging from his parents to pay the application fees; I just like a lot of places and just wanted to see (university of arkansas, university of rochester, university of michigan, notre dame, johns hopkins, northwestern, washU, duke, MIT, princeton, yale, harvard)

"how does one apply to about 11 or 12 schools."

I applied to 11 schools and paid NOTHING. I got fee waivers for every single one of them, I got fee waivers for everything including standardized tests. But I think it's because my dad is close to the poverty level and my real mom who doesn't live with me is unemployed. But if you want too, most likely you already did. (lol) Good Luck!

p.s. I applied to alot bc I was scared I wouldn't get in anywhere lol. Idk i'm just scared, I hate rejection, that's one of the MAJOR reasons why I didn't apply to Harvard. Cuz it is what it is for me; a DREAM. Most likely MED school but not now. Good Luck again!
