I think so, because at the end of the year we still have to send the Final Year Report--our offers of admissions are contingent upon maintaining our grades.

RE: paying for this bad boy...

I've got an NROTC scholarship that covers tuition, books and fees. I also get a stipend every month and pay for the activities I do over the summer through the Navy. My family has to foot room and board, which is going to be a bit of a stretch, considering our financial situation, but it's a sacrifice we're willing to make at this point.

@theagentofchaos: Will Harvard's financial aid help cover the costs of room and board?

@theagentofchaos Plead your case. Harvard accepted us early for a reason: not only do they want us, but they're absolutely certain that they really want us. I highly doubt they'd throw away one of the prized 772 over a few thousand dollars. If you haven't already gotten something in the mail from the financial aid office, call them and explain your financial situation. I'd be really surprised if they don't pay for most/all of it. Good luck!

You should all check out the blogs at Harvard College Admissions Homepage to read up on what current students are doing and some of the things you could be doing when you're on campus!

One thing that everyone can do is to withdraw your applications from other colleges (YPS). Since you got in to your deam school, there is no reason to keep the other applications open. The financial aid among HYPS is almost similar.
