So, class of 2016, what do we do next? Does anyone know when we get Financial Aid? Has anyone said yes to Harvard already? Anyone gotten the acceptance package? Or, like me, can you not believe that this is real? I'm still in shock, but I'd like to get to know the rest of the class of 2016!

Congrats to early admits to the Class of 2016! So excited! My email did not arrive until 10 pm, but it was well worth the wait!

Accepted...and my son said yes! The response email said that he will get a packet in early April.

I actually found out because my interviewer called me and congratulated me. . .and i hadnt even gotten the email yet. HHAHAHAHA. I don't think I will accept for sure until April.

Haha I'm still trying to take everything in, but I said yes already. So happy I don't have to work on any more applications and supplements. Time to cruise through the rest of the year.

I am so ecstatic! I got my e-mail around 7:30, but I knew around 5:30 because I logged into the admitted student's page. I am still in a daze! Congrats to all of you guys! Has anyone gotten their big envelope, yet?

Also, what dorm would you guys want? Me, I would LOVE to live in Apley Court--prime non-touristy real estate! ( Though, I'd live in a cardboard box if I meant I still got in!)

I have not said yes, because, if accepted to Princeton, I may want to use their fin aid package as leverage with Harvard's. My sister is a sophomore at Harvard and lived in Canaday F her freshman year. It was cool because it is so close to Annenberg where we'll eat freshman year but lacks the character of many of the other dorms. she was on the top floor and had high ceilings and one of 3 single with a common room. But, I also will be happy anywhere.

and.... when my sister was admitted it seemed there was an Official fb group right away. I don't see ours but am eager to "meet" my classmates.

Yep I said yes. This is so crazy though.

I am from a school of 180 kids 9-12, and we are a public school. Like it is REALLY rural.

I found out during a home basketball game. (pep band so had to go)

THE ENTIRE GYM ERUPTED! It was the craziest experience of my life.

My friend took pictures of the celebration. It's going in the year book. And we swept the opposing team.

It was the best day of my life.

Does anyone understand the facebook groups? There's 5 or 6 groups and I'm not sure which one is "official" or which one I should be joining...

As I understand it, there's the huge "official" one with ~175 people that some 2015ers started for us and a smaller one with about 60 started by a 2016er! Join both!
