I keep receiving email updates whenever someone posts on this thread and I get excited thinking its Harvard hahaha its torture!

I have no idea how many people normally make the extended waitlist. Is it 10, 25, 50, 100? Anyone have an idea?

However, throughout the whole process, I have learned you have to be greatful. Those who are waitlisted at Harvard are probably going to amazing places no matter what happens. I am going to Brown University, and I am proud of that


Also, you can always tell your were kids/friends you were waitlisted at Harvard--something you don't hear very often

Wonder how many Stanford admits were on that waitlist! My D was one and I think the parents cared more than her.

Rejected! Spending a gap year on an exchange program in Germany, then off to UC Berkeley class of 2017, which is still quite amazing!

However, I'm definitely thinking of a certain Cee Lo Green song right now...

@moy2414, You have two ways to find out. The simple is to try to request your forgotten pin. If you are rejected from the WL then you should get a message that you no longer have access to the applicant website. You can also try the waitlist link at the Harvard website if it still works for you.

@Ana1, OK is the pin the same as the access code? I just requested it and.it said it was being sent to my email. And is the waitlist link on the home page or within the undergraduate admissions tab?

That's what I meant. If it says that it is being sent then you are either in for the next round or you have been accepted. Try your name and access code in the admitted students and see if it works. If not, then you are just in for the next WL round.
